Avoid Contact with Water and Chemicals

  • Moisture can lead to tarnishing and dullness. Avoid wearing imitation jewellery in the shower, while swimming or when washing hands.

Avoid Overexposure

Store Properly

  • Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or jewellery box to prevent scratches and tangling.
  • Store pieces with anti-tarnish cloths or strips, especially for silver-plated items, to slow down the tarnishing process.
  • Avoid humid areas like bathrooms, as moisture can tarnish the jewellery. A dry, dark place is best for storage.

Extra tips for longevity

  • Over time, the clasps can loosen. Regularly inspect them to ensure they’re secure.
  • Remove imitation jewellery before bed to avoid accidental damage.
