Jewellery Care Guide
Follow these simple tips to keep your jewellery looking fabulous!

Avoid Contact with Water and Chemicals
- Moisture can lead to tarnishing and dullness. Avoid wearing imitation jewellery in the shower, while swimming or when washing hands.
- Perfumes, lotions and sprays contain chemicals that can affect the jewellery’s finish. Apply them before wearing to avoid contact.
- Keep your jewellery away from household cleaning products as they can be corrosive.

Avoid Overexposure
- Sweat can affect the metal coating and cause discolouration.
- Avoid wearing imitation jewellery during heavy-duty work, as it can scratch or damage the pieces.
- Sunlight and high temperatures can fade stones and metals over time. Keep jewellery out of direct sunlight for long periods.

Store Properly
- Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or jewellery box to prevent scratches and tangling.
- Store pieces with anti-tarnish cloths or strips, especially for silver-plated items, to slow down the tarnishing process.
- Avoid humid areas like bathrooms, as moisture can tarnish the jewellery. A dry, dark place is best for storage.

Extra tips for longevity
- To minimise wear and tear, avoid wearing the same pieces every day. Rotate your collection so each piece has time to “rest.”
- Over time, the clasps can loosen. Regularly inspect them to ensure they’re secure.
- Remove imitation jewellery before bed to avoid accidental damage.
